The July-December 2019, Volume 10 Issue 2 of the Open Journal of Psychiatry & Allied Sciences (OJPAS®) is inaugurated by the Editorial Assistant, Devyani Borkataki. With this issue, OJPAS®, formerly Dysphrenia completes a decade (2010-2019) of publication.

At Patty Oh!, Guwahati, the Society for Mental Health in LAMIC (SoMHiL), represented by President Mythili Hazarika, Secretary Bornali Das, and Member Simanta Talukdar held a discussion on LGBT support group with the stakeholders.
Workshop held
The Assam Tribune in the City page covered as news (“Workshop held”) the workshop on “Research: What and How? From framing research questions to reference styles” organised by the Society for Mental Health in LAMIC (SoMHiL) in collaboration with the Open Journal of Psychiatry & Allied Sciences (OJPAS®) in The Space (located at 123 Guwahati, i.e. Rajgarh bye lane 1, House no. 2, Flat no. 3) on 5 June 2019 where Prof. Anurag Srivastava, Professor and Head, Department of Surgical Disciplines, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (A.I.I.M.S.), New Delhi was the resource person. The workshop was followed by a discussion on the development of a research project on the LGBT community.
