ESSAH is a centre for development of special children. It is started by the mothers of the special children which is the first such unique approach in Guwahati. They have taken a vocational and skills-based approach for the rehabilitation. Mythili Hazarika, the President of the Society for Mental Health in LAMIC (SoMHiL) gave them knowledge on disability certification, various approaches to address the children issues and parental stress.
