Tele-psychological Counselling

Mythili Hazarika, the President of the Society for Mental Health in LAMIC (SoMHiL) is leading the Assam mental health task force in tele psychological counseling for the quarantine, isolated, self-quarantined and anyone in distress. She has also formulated some strategies according to guidelines. Health and family welfare had given Mythili Hazarika the responsibility to train and carry on this mission with a farsighted vision.

Corona Special Programme on FM Mahabahu 101.6

The special programme on Corona virus by Mahabahu 101.6 FM on 12th April 2020 talks about the helpline numbers by Mental Health Professionals of Gauhati Medical College and Hospital( GMCH) and its team with the support of Assam Police providing tele-psychological counseling to the people in need of mental health care and services due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
